About us

St Luke’s Church is led by Reverend Donald Davis. Originally from Edinburgh, Donald was in the Royal Navy from the age of 16. In 1992 he left the Royal Navy to train for ministry in the Church of England, going to work as a curate at St Jude’s in Plymouth and then as vicar of St Philip Weston Mill in Plymouth. He came to St Luke’s in 2008.

St Luke’s is a Parish Church in the Church of England, therefore the vicar is assisted in the running of the church by Churchwardens and a Parochial Church Council or PCC, which are elected every year in an Annual Parochial Church Meeting or APCM. Donald is also supported by Amanda Wright, the Parish Administrator. If you would like to make an appointment with Donald or if you want to find out about thanksgiving, baptism, weddings, funerals or marriage banns, or enquire about hall hire, you should contact Amanda at stlukeswestnorwood@gmail.com.
